Martina Melapie (Dr. agr.)
After successfully completing a degree in tropical/subtropical agronomy at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague, Czech Republic, Martina went on to graduate studies in international organic agriculture at the University of Kassel, Germany, giving her a broad background in many forms of agriculture. During her doctoral studies, she focused on nutrient use efficiency in urban gardening of West African cities and later joined the Faculty of Organic Agricultural Sciences of the University of Kassel, where she worked as research assistant and project coordinator for 5 years. She then joined a certification body, where she was mainly involved in organic certification of Chinese operations according to different standards and contributed to the coordination of the working group. Since co-founding SRS in 2017, she has been in charge of the Certification Department, and is now Managing Director, as well as Senior Certification Officer, and Head of the Certification Department.
Alexandra zum Felde (Dr. agr.)
After studying environmental biology and organic agriculture at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, Alexandra specialised in biological pest control during her graduate studies at the University of Bonn in Germany. She has a very broad background in tropical and organic agriculture. She later worked as plantain agronomist at IITA in Nigeria, as lecturer and research assistant at the Faculty of Organic Agricultural Sciences, University of Kassel and most recently as a freelance agricultural consultant, editor, reviewer and translator. At SRS she works as Quality Manager, Senior Certification Officer in the Certification Department and Regional Coordinator for Africa.
Regina Ordowski (Dipl.-Ing. agr.)
During her agronomy studies at the University of Hohenheim, Germany, Regina participated in government-supported research that took her to China for the first time. She was then involved in further research projects and inspection jobs in a number of countries, in the global North and South. When she later joined a large certification body, she was one of the first to implement international organic standard certification for Chinese producers. She has since worked as certifier, trainer, standard manager and coordinator for several organic and sustainability standards, before co-founding SRS in 2017. She functions as global training manager and assistant to Chairman.
Karin Hellige
With a wealth of experience administrating and managing the services offered by certification bodies, she gained over 15 years working as administrative officer in General Department. Karin is responsible for all administrative issues, human resources and IT assistance. In 2017, she co-founded SRS and now she assists the Managing Directors as well as the Certification and Customer Service Departments.
Eilika Wülfing (Dipl.-Biol.)
Eilika studied microbiology at the University of Göttingen and gained international work experience during two years on a virology research scholarship at the University College Dublin. She then returned to Göttingen to work as a lab technician in a phytopathology working group, before spending two years in Ukraine involved in voluntary community service projects, working with youth and on regional history. Currently, she is strengthening the Certification Department as Senior Certification Officer and Regional Coordinator for China.
Jessica N. Andriamparany (Dr. agr.)
After studying plant biology and ecology at the University of Antananarivo, Madagascar, Jessica pursued her education in Germany and graduated in international organic agriculture at the University of Kassel. During her doctoral studies, she conducted interdisciplinary research on the use and cultivation of crops and wild plants in southern Madagascar. After receiving her doctorate, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the universities of Kassel & Göttingen, focusing on organic agriculture and sustainable land use management, then on international project management and crop monitoring technologies, before joining SRS, where she works as Senior Certification Officer in the Certification Department, Regional Coordinator for India and Program Manager for NOP.
Ana Zulay Guido-Mora (MSc. agr.)
Ana Zulay Guido Mora is a Certification Officer at SRS Certification in Germany. She holds a degree in Agronomy from the University of Costa Rica, which provided her with a strong foundation in tropical agriculture and rural development. She later completed a double Master’s degree in Sustainable International Agriculture from the University of Talca (Chile) and the University of Göttingen (Germany). During her time in Germany, she developed a growing interest in organic agriculture through her work with organic producers and suppliers.
Mohamad Al-Heshan (Dipl.-Ing. agr.)
After completing his studies in Agricultural Sciences and Horticulture at the University of Damascus, Mohamad continued his professional path in Germany, where he worked in various positions within quality management and food logistics. In roles such as Quality Specialist at SanLucar Deutschland and Team Leader at REWE Group Logistics, he gained extensive experience with organic certification systems, QS standards, and quality assurance processes. Building on his expertise in HACCP, EU regulations, and certification schemes including Bio and Regionalfenster, he now contributes to the SRS certification department as a Certification Officer.
Abhay Shinde (BSc. agr)
Abhay Shinde is a Certification Officer at SRS Certification in Germany, originally from India. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture and has professional experience as an organic inspector under NPOP, NOP, and EU organic regulations. He is currently pursuing his Master’s studies in Organic Agriculture at the University of Hohenheim, Germany. Alongside his academic work, he has also contributed to Naturland as team support for the Certification Committee, strengthening his understanding of certification review and decision-making processes. He has attended several trainings in organic agriculture and certification and has developed strong expertise in ICS group certification systems and processing unit certification.
Jaime Ricardo Picado Aragon (MBA)
Jaime Ricardo Picado is a Certification Officer, specialized in group certification in India. He has over 15 years of experience auditing organic and sustainability schemes and has previously worked as Quality Manager and Rainforest Alliance Program Manager at a certification body, as well as a consultant for FAO and Enveritas. He also supports internal audits and quality initiatives at SRS.
Julieta L. Lázzari (Dipl.-Ing. agr.)
Julieta L.Lazzari is a Certification Officer at SRS with over seven years of professional experience in organic certification. She holds an Agricultural Engineer degree from Universidad Nacional de Rosario, Argentina, a Diploma in Chinese culture from Universidad Nacional de Córdoba and a Master Degree in course in Management and Politics in Food Security.
Shuta Kurokawa (MSc. agr.)
Shuta completed a Master’s degree in Crop Protection at the University of Göttingen, where he studied biological pest management, pesticides, virology, and related subjects. As an intern, he worked at organic farms in Germany and the UK as well as at a research institute in Germany. At SRS, he is responsible for JAS administration.
Tetiana Koshyk (Analytical Chemist)
Tetiana Koshyk holds a degree in Analytical Chemistry from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. She has extensive experience in quality control and quality management systems, having worked with leading international and national companies, including Coca-Cola, Mondelez International, and Epicentr.
Throughout her career, she has been responsible for quality assurance processes, compliance with regulatory requirements, laboratory testing coordination, and the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems.
In her current role at SRS, Tetiana is responsible for the issuance and management of Transaction Certificates (TCs) and the administration and review of testing protocols.
